Exchanges Behind Closed Doors
When there is so much money to be made, so much power to be had,
why are drugs kept illegal?

There is money being made, money that nobody keeps track of,
money that swims away from the frontal lobes of society like an explosion of insects
furiously finding their way underground, carving holes where there were none before, away
from prying eyes.

| It is in fact underground where the
foundations for most of what we know of as life comes from, tendrils of desire stretching
downward to find the nourishment that will grow within and beyond, transcending their dark
ancestry, finding a home in the fluid regions of air and light. But still in need, in need
of more gifts from the darkness. |

The impulse to get high, to break beyond the
imposed barriers of consciousness and flow outwards into the unknown... this very impulse
creates a furrow of darkness, a place where power and energy can grow, away from the nosey
eyes of tax collectors, corporate banks and mass newspapers. Is this furrow then an
extension of the seed that falls on dark soil and wishes to be free, to feel once again
the showers of light and rain that it knew in a past long forgotten. |
| See it like this: a cave of darkness, created
by a wish for light, where seeds may grow but also sickness, power, greed and anger. Can
the one be without the other? The walls of the cave are written in books and the beings
who reside within it live behind veils of knowledge and fear. And the cave, the lost
underground cave holds a basket full of gifts, unknown to its own creators. |

Like lost flowers, the drugs feed the inner
sanctum of corruption from which someday the angels may emerge, beings of light that won't
look back at the trail of rot that they leave behind. |
